New to Tacoma Strength? Just Getting Started?

We’ll coach you through a strength and conditioning program we wrote based on what we’ve seen people need and on what will best prepare them for our regular training groups. Get Started!

Powerlifting Only Option

Powerlifting Class. Offered every Friday, we cover one of the powerlifting disciplines along with a couple accessory movements. This class is about 90 min to get a complete lower or upper body workout in. All levels welcome to either review, refresh or introduce said lifts.

Olympic Weightlifting Only Option

Coached team training sessions are available both in the mornings and evenings on Tuesday and Thursday @ 9:30 am and 5:30 pm and Saturdays @ 10:00 am and 5:30 pm (5:30 pm upon Coach's approval). Additional workouts are provided for Mondays and Fridays for athletes to train on their own. Private coaching is also available but we encourage you to train with the team if possible.

If you are new or novice weightlifter with little or no experience with the Olympic lifts or an experienced lifter looking for a refresher or a place to train please contact us at weightlifting@tacomastrength.com to see if there is a fit.


Drop-In

Drop-ins are for experienced CrossFitters who go to other gyms and are in Tacoma for up to a week. If you have never done CrossFit before go to our beginners page. We rely on a certain level of knowledge and skill at our classes. If you don't know what's going on it negatively affects your experience as well as the quality of coaching other athletes receive. Seriously, do the beginner program, it's good.
