PALEO SPAGHETTI: A QUICK GO TO MEAL

This recipe is created from memory from TS Coach Kris’s post on the TS website a year or so ago. Very Simple, Very Quick, Very Clean, Very Tasty!

Total Time From turning oven on to sitting at the table: 40minutes

Ingredients:
1 Spaghetti Squash (Cut in half, seeds/guts scooped out)
1 lb ground beef (try for grass fed)
1 (32oz) jar of Mario Battali or Costco brand Marinara Sauce

Procedure:
1. PreHeat oven to 400F.
2. Place cut squash halves on clean cookie sheet and into hot oven for 25 minutes (rotate sheet pan around 15 minutes)
3. In large saute pan, on Med High heat, brown beef well (add chopped garlic if desired)
4. When browned well, add sauce, combine well, bring to simmer and reduce heat to low.
5. Remove squash from oven and allow to cool 5-10 minutes until you can handle holding it. (If in a hurry, use a clean kitchen towel to protect you from the heat.)
6. Using a large fork, scrape out cooked squash into spaghetti like strands into a large pasta bowl.
7. Add meat sauce to squash strands and serve.

Optional: add a couple sauteed Italian Sausages to the sauce.
