Easy Kalua pork
Ingredients
3-5 pound pork shoulder or butt
1 tbsp. liquid smoke per pound of pork
1 tbsp Hawaiian salt (or sea salt)
1 head cabbage – chopped.
Enough water to cover pork in crock pot.
Directions
- Put pork in crock pot, cover with water, add liquid smoke and salt.
- Set on low for 8-10 hours.
- Take pork out of crock pot, and set aside, put cabbage in water pork cooked in and turn crock pot up to high.
- Shred pork with forks and add back to crock pot, cook everything until cabbage is done to your liking. Salt and pepper to taste.
